This engine is more powerful than the average four-cylinder you will find in this segment, but it’s also more efficient. It’s an optional feature on the Corolla sedan and standard on the Corolla Hatchback.
The new 2022 Corolla is also available as a hybrid. This Toyota Corolla Hybrid averages less than 4.4 litres per 100 km meaning that you will not find a more efficient compact sedan in the segment.
