The refreshed exterior

The 2023 Toyota Corolla Hatchback comes standard with an efficient 2,0L four-cylinder engine that produces 169 horsepower. This engine has proved itself in the last few years since it is the same that has powered the Corolla Hatchback since its introduction in 2019. This engine is paired with a Direct-Shift CVT transmission that features an industry-exclusive physical first gear. This device makes the vehicle more dynamic at low speeds by using a first gear that is similar to the one found in a torque converter automatic transmission while keeping the impressive fuel economy of a traditional CVT transmission.
