This is the brand-new 2023 Toyota Crown

The all-new 2023 Toyota Crown is coming to Canada this year with an exceptional blend of efficiency, performance, refinement, and the latest technology. It will also have all-wheel drive in every model while also offering an exceptional blend of comfort and driving pleasure.

Impressive hybrid powertrains

The all-new Crown is available in three grades: XLE, Limited, and Platinum. All grades come standard with electronic on-demand all-wheel drive system. The new HYBRID MAX powertrain is a hybrid system that pairs a 2.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine with two electric motors (one at the front and one at the rear). The rear motor is located on a new electronically controlled eAxle that translates into an all-wheel drive system to guarantee the highest level of stability in any situation.

The impressive Toyota Hybrid System II is offered on every grade except the Platinum trim. This impressive THS system is the latest generation of the Toyota hybrid engine. It pairs a new 2.5-litre four-cylinder with an electric motor setup.

This impressive powertrain isn’t just quick, it’s also very efficient with an average fuel consumption rating of just 8.4 litres per 100 kilometres. The Toyota Hybrid System II has an average fuel consumption rating of just 6.2 litres per 100 kilometres.

Luxury abounds in the new 2023 Toyota Crown

The all-new Crown features a spacious and comfortable interior with plenty of legroom and headroom for all passengers. The seats are upholstered in premium materials and the cabin is well insulated from exterior noise. The Platinum grade comes standard with a range of additional comfort and performance features that are ultimately too long to list here.

The exterior design of the all-new Crown is both elegant and athletic. The sedan has a long hood, short rear deck, and wide stance. The front end features a large grille with chrome accents and standard LED headlamps. The Platinum grade comes standard with 21-inch wheels and a unique bi-tone paint option.

The all-new Crown is packed with safety and driver assistance features. All grades come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system with some of the most advanced driving assistance technologies and advanced safety systems.

Toyota's all-new multimedia system is standard on all grades and features a 12.3-inch touchscreen. This new system offers advanced voice commands for improved interactions, advanced navigation, and over-the-air updates.

The all-new Toyota Crown is scheduled to go on sale in Canada in late 2022. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
